Possible hackage
Note: The blog was hacked. I spent all night trying to clean it up. If you have registered here you may think about changing your password. Sorry about this folks it pretty much sucks.
Hey everyone,
Just to let you know there is a strong possibility that this blog was hacked recently. A helpful user (Eoin) informed me that when trying to visit the blog from Google he was re-directed to an advertising website.
In response I’ve updated the blog and tried my best to ensure that anything that was hacked is back to normal.
If anyone noticed anything strange happening on this blog please let me know.
Thanks.
Fraking hackers…

Hi Selsine, i don’t know why the people want to hack this web, it’s only a learning website…
On the other hand, you’re doing well with yours tutorials and I’m considering to suscribe to PyMag
Greetings from Spain Mark.
Jesus.

Yeah I’m not sure why they would bother with a small site like this in the first place. I’ve got to shoulder some of the blame since I wasn’t exactly up to date when it came to the WordPress version that I was using.
It’s too bad but this will teach me to pay more attention to security.
I’d recommend PyMag to anyone, it’s full of lots of great Python content and I end up learning something every issue.
Also thanks for the kind words!
mark.

Hi again,
I just bought a subscription to PyMag, seems to be very good.
I will read it after my exams.
See you

Just curious why you don’t switch to django or pybloxsom?

Hey Jesse,
For the most part it’s just laziness. I have a hard enough time keeping up with this blog and everything else in my life.
I’d love to switch, but right now this is all setup and working so it’s good enough until I get some more spare time…if I get some more spare time!
